If there isn't really a more damning indictment of what a degree in jazz performance is worth than coming into your final year of college and realizing, "FLEA ROCKZ!", then I don't really know what else to say.

i felt that way about my first roommate, who double-majored in theatre and psychology, and used to stage elaborate series of lies in order to study my reactions. so she studied to learn how to be a liar and your guy paid to be a total douche.

Those are the guys who get their nuts worshipped because they can play a bunch of notes at a million miles per hour, but it doesn't sound like music because their influences suck.
